FORMative Assessment using Google Forms

Steve Heffner - Conrad Weiser

Presentation Description:

Effective teachers don't wait until the unit test to find out how much their students understand. Instead, they use various techniques to check for student understanding throughout a unit of instruction and then use this feedback to adjust their planning and instruction as needed. Google Forms is just one more technique that teachers can quickly add to their formative assessment repertoire. Using Google Forms is simple, helps teachers to use their time more effectively, and students seem to love it! The goal of this 45 minute session will be to teach everyone to create a simple Google Form that can be used to check for student understanding.
